Hiking

The small Ochsenfurt district of Tückelhausen guards a special treasure: the completely preserved complex of a Carthusian monastery. The monks of this strict order combined both hermit life and community life. Learn about the history and piety in a wing of the cloister and gain insight into two monks' cells.

Unfortunately, the museum will remain closed, but it is possible to visit the church and courtyard!

Hiking

There are no opening times yet, but you can book a guided tour and then you can explore the museum, the church and the entire complex (except the private property). You learn a lot about the lives of the Carthusian monks who belonged to this order of silence. Very interesting and recommended.
