The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Michaelis in Oberkleen is a Baroque hall church, completed in 1769. Most of the original furnishings have been preserved, including the pulpit decorated with wooden carvings and 25 parapet paintings by Daniel Hisgen. The west tower, a late Gothic defensive tower from the 15th century, has been preserved. Its pointed spire is flanked by four little houses. The church dominates the townscape and is a Hessian cultural monument.
