Here you have (unfortunately a bit overgrown in summer) a "wonderful view of the Kurhaus Trifels [Jugendstilhotel Annweiler] against the backdrop of the Bannenberg, the Trifels-Gymnasium and the Adelberg." In the distance it is "the Hortenkopf, 606 m high. It lies between Hofstätten and Leimen and can be recognized by the telecommunications tower.”
The bench was built by the “Bindersbacher Brauchtum” association. The brook next to it is currently (Oct. 2022) unfortunately dried up.
