At the located point, coming from the south, a tunnel view of the green awaits you, no skyline, no Mendener or Mintarder bridge, no sculpture.
The wonderful and impressive skyline of the great Rhine-Ruhr-Stadt-Land-shaft can be seen a little higher, to the south.

The added photos are more likely to be understood as an irony of the presumably local. It's hard to believe that you should be able to see the archer, let alone his bow, from here.
