    Do not confuse Saint-Pierre, Saint-Patrick and Saint-Pétrock!

    # St-Pierre is a Galilean fisherman from the 1st century, living under the Roman Empire.
    # St. Patrick is a 5th century Welshman, who had been taken prisoner by Irish pirates. Released, he left to study in France. Consecrated bishop, he returned to Ireland to convert the pirates to Christianity.
    # St-Pétrock is also Welsh but in the 6th century. A century after St. Patrick's Day, it is to Ireland that we go to study Christian theology correctly. Once trained, Pétrock returned to the South of England, to Cornwall, to found the monasteries of Petrocson and Bodmin, where he exercised an active apostolate. He met Saint Goran there.

After that, he crossed the English Channel to announce the Gospel in Brittany, where more than 30 churches were dedicated to him, often under the name of "Perreux".
