    The bridge spanning the Olša River in Darkov connected parts of Darkov divided by the river and was intensively used by automobile traffic. The Darkovský bridge was designed by the Viennese builder Ing. Franz Rabe. Construction of the bridge began in 1922 and was completed in 1925.
    During the flood in 1997, the river Olše almost flooded the bridge.
    In 2003–2004, the bridge was reconstructed. A total renovation of the reinforced concrete structure was carried out and the entire bridge body was raised two meters above the original level. During the rehabilitation, the reliefs on the walls were preserved.
    It has been used for pedestrians and cyclists since 2004, car traffic was removed from the traffic service.
