The judicial museum is located in the local court of the village. Further information on the judicial museum can be found at gerichtsmuseum.de. There are monthly tours of the museum.
The only still producing slate quarry in North Rhine-Westphalia exists in Bad Fredeburg. It is the Magog company.
Since the municipal reorganization on January 1st, 1975 Bad Fredeburg belongs to the city of Schmallenberg. The city of Schmallenberg is the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia.
