The small village square with lime tree on the quincunx route "Orchids" was designed in 1948. Exactly opposite "Zum Käsberg 1" was the first church in the village, built in 1565. In 1906 it was demolished due to dilapidation. The new church was built in the summer of 1903 on the hillside “Zum Steinbruch 5” a little to the south. The two bells from the old one were transferred to the new village church, which was inaugurated in 1905. At the portal there are five tombstones from the first half of the 19th century, they come from the former cemetery that used to be next to the old church.
