Hiking

The car park is heavily frequented, on weekends and public holidays when the weather is nice, also at night, as many mountaineers use the Boofen in the Schrammsteinen and the Affenstein area. So it's just a matter of luck to get a place here. If you park on the street, which actually offers enough space, you can definitely count on a €25 parking ticket on these days, which happened to me and I was back from my tour at 1 p.m. 😡
