The Tajogaite volcano, which was created during the most recent volcanic eruption on La Palma in December 2021, can be seen very clearly from here. Especially the gigantic lava fields that cover a significant part of La Palma's fertile and urban land.
There are guided hikes in groups of 15 people (cost €30 per person, December 2022), which can approach the crater up to 100m. The distance from here is significantly greater, but the entire crater can be seen from the hike and you can also look into the crater. Don't forget the binoculars!
Hike only possible under certain weather conditions. If applicable. closed due to gas leak.

I probably won't get that close to him anytime soon

The hike takes place on an easily walkable path partly through the black volcanic ash. You have a good view of the crater 😎🇪🇦👍
