The bike path goes straight along here. The origin of Smržovka is connected with the beginning of the settlement of the Jizera Mountains in the first half of the 16th century. The first settlers spoke German because they mostly came from the German side of the Ore Mountains. However, from the beginning both ethnic groups – the Czech and the German – lived here together and shared their destiny with each other.
I had a little break here.
