the Lusatian Neisse has 4 source rivers. The best known is the Wiesenthaler Neisse, the source of which we have here. The Wiesentaler Neisse (Lučanská or Lužická Nisa) rises at the northern foot of the Černá studnice (Schwarzbrunnkoppe) and flows through the place Lučany nad Nisou (Wiesental). The Gablonzer Neisse or Neudorfer Bach (Novoveský potok) flows into the Neisse in Jablonec nad Nisou (Gablonz). The White Neisse (Bílá Nisa or Rýnovická Nisa) flows through Bedřichov (Friedrichswald) and Janov nad Nisou (Johannesberg) and flows into the Neisse below Jablonec.
North of Bedřichov, the Black Neisse (Černá Nisa) is dammed in the Bedřichov dam, flows through Kateřinky (Katharinberg) and flows into the Neisse in Stráž nad Nisou (Alt Habendorf).

This is the source of the Lusatian Neisse and begins its 254-kilometer journey to its mouth in the Oder.

In the summer no more than a stone in a damp ground, but the starting point of the Oder-Neisse cycle path.
