Viale della Vittoria connects, from sea to sea, the modern districts built in the 1900s to the oldest part of the city and to the port. Built during the Fascist period, the elegant road axis, about one kilometer long, is now one of the favorite walks of Ancona. From Largo XXIV Maggio it crosses the city to the Monument to the Fallen of the First World War, from which a monumental staircase descends to the sea, in the Passetto area.

Along the avenue it is possible to meet numerous clubs, including historical ones, which wind through the squares and adjacent streets. An ideal place to find, sheltered under the shade of numerous trees, a little cool on the hottest days and a little peace and relaxation sitting on the benches.
