On the Schrmmsteinweg you can get from the Schrammsteintor to the two southern ascents to the Schrammsteinen without much effort. You will pass various climbing routes. If the weather is good, you can certainly see some climbers.

The Schrammstein Trail in Saxon Switzerland is a central, challenging high-altitude trail across the Schrammsteine, leading from Ostrau to Schmilka. It requires surefootedness and a head for heights. The trail features narrow ridges, steps, and ladders, offering spectacular views of the rugged rock landscape, particularly from the Schrammstein Lookout. It connects the Jägersteig trail with the Gratweg and the Rückesteig trail and is easily accessible by bus.
