This small, wooden memorial, which hikers encounter in the Rheinbach Forest north of the village of Berg, was erected to commemorate a young woman. Isabelle was her first name; she was born in 1963 and died in 1992. This information is inscribed on the crossbeam. May she rest in peace, and may eternal light shine upon her.
