Grizedale Forest is a large area of Forestry England managed woodland situated between Coniston Water and Windermere. There are several small bodies of water within the forest, but Grizedale Tarn is the only natural lake.
To find the tarn follow the waymarked Tarn Trail from the visitor centre.
