Sheltered Seat dominates a steep bend in the path near a ravine, with a wide and impressive view over the valley. A large, grass-covered ledge juts out from the hillside, forming a wide roof, large enough to shelter twelve or more people. Minimal, effective seating is integrated into this wooden wall. "If a work of art has a strong, understated presence in the landscape, we consider it a success."
