Nice view, swimming and canoeing possible (except cycling tours) ...
Just try to avoid bridge days, long weekends and holidays. Crowd, bus tours and motorcycle clubs. Was with road bike, that went, but otherwise it is difficult to find a (parking) place.May 31, 2019
The Pont-d‘Arc, a symbol of the region, is a must if you are already in the area. Photographed many times, but in reality just unbelievably impressive - you have to see it. Very nice view from the road or the pedestrian path on the Route des Gorges. The passage under the arch on the Ardéche in a canoe, which can be rented in many places on site, is also absolutely worthwhile. Of course, this wonder of nature is usually well attended on water and on land, everyone should be aware of that - it will hardly be possible to take a photo with a deserted environment.

A fantastic gorge, much wider than the Tarn and also a lot more touristy. Tough climb after the Pont d'Arc, then you drive above on the best asphalt with a great view of the beautiful landscape.
