And you can actually tell a lot :)
The Förderverein Kämmereimuseum Blumenthal e.V. informs about the most historical buildings on the site of the former Bremen wool-combing by "Phone Guide". The phone number for this is on the information boards at the respective buildings.
Further information about the story can be found here:

I still remember the wool-combing well; I used to work there every now and then. It was very interesting to see how the wool was worked. It has long been the largest company of its kind in the world.
The processing of raw wool at the Bremen site was discontinued on February 27, 2009 after 125 years. In 2012, parts of the company premises were listed as an ensemble and three buildings as a single monument under monument protection.

This is an industrial monument from bygone days. It is worth seeing, even if you can only go in as a dead end and then drive out again. A transit is currently not possible.

Bremer Woll-Kämmerei AG (BWK) was a globally operating company in the wool textile industry with its headquarters in Bremen Blumenthal. It was the largest company of its kind in the world for a long time. It had branches in Istanbul (Turkey), Australia and New Zealand. The company's activities included the processing of raw materials such as sheep's wool and man-made fibers as well as the trade in semi-finished goods.
