The cozy restaurant and café Heikinkarin Ranthuone on the Archipelago Ring in Taivassalo, Finland. Heikinkarin Ranthuone is located directly on the water along the Finnish Archipelago Trail (Saariston Rengastie). A well-known trademark of the place is the blue-and-white kiosk in the style of a small tower, where ice cream and drinks are offered, among other things. Visitors appreciate the café for its coffee specialties, cinnamon buns (munkit), pizzas, and burgers in a maritime atmosphere.

The Viking Legend: According to the official operator's history, the name dates back to the year 876. According to this, a group of Vikings led by Knuut Hejkinpoika landed on the rugged coast of Taivassalo. They built foundations out of the characteristic red Taivassalo granite. As the waters were extremely rich in fish, the group built a small wooden beach house (Ranthuone) for fish sales.
