    Hiking

Flåm is at the end of the Aurlandsfjord, a branch of the large Sognefjord. South of the harbor is Flåm's 17th-century wooden church. Flåm is connected to the transport routes by the Flåm Railway. It leads up to Myrdal on the Hardangervidda plateau.
Since 1986, Flåm has been connected to the road network through the 5053 m long Flenja Tunnel. In the past, traffic routes were secured by ferries.

    Hiking

Flåm is a village in the southwest of Norway. The area is known for its fjords and the place lies at the end of the Aurlandsfjord, a tributary of the great Sognefjord. The spectacular Stegastein viewing platform towers high above the Aurlandsfjord. In the valley south of the harbor of Flåm is the 17th century wooden church of Flåm. The Flåm Railway offers views of the valley and waterfalls while driving to a train station on the Hardangervidda high plateau.
