You have to pay attention to the surface, and also to oncoming traffic - it is the Elbe cycle path after all. There are erosion valleys leading to the water that you have to cross, so even short stretches are steeply uphill. For someone who wants to get ahead quickly, I recommend the cycle path on the B5. Anyone with a bit of stamina who wants to cycle along a beautiful forest path above the Elbe will like the route.
