Probably one of the very best descents in the lakes; fast, fun but becoming challenging, rocky and steep, but it's still surprisingly forgiving. In essence, it looks a fair bit harder than it is! One to savour.

Mountain biking

This trail, if you don't want to push your bike, is rated well above S1, I would say a clear S2. It alters between nice stony path and rock outcroppings, interlaced with some not so cleverly built water drain gullies. Well-known to bikers, there is quite some traffic here. Beware of the hikers and their dogs!
