Lago d'Arpy

Lake d'Arpy is a splendid glacial lake located at 2066 m.

Reachable from Colle S. Carlo in about an hour, it is a small alpine lake nestled between the mountains and extremely enchanting. Once you reach it, you can walk along its banks using the existing paths to admire the flora and fauna immersed in total silence. A place of the heart

An easy route suitable for everyone is the one that leads from Colle San Carlo to the enchanting Arpy lake (2,066 m) with a delicate ecosystem, located in a splendid basin and enclosed between Mount Charvel and Becca Poignenta to the left of Mount Colmet. The lake has shades of color ranging from brown to light blue to green. In its waters there are trout and a rare species of amphibian, the Alpine newt (Triturus alpestris).
