The Orbe (German formerly Orbach) is the 67 km long, left and western source river of the Thielle (German Zihl) in the Jura department in France and in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Below Vallorbe is a barrage of the Orbe. The only tributary worth mentioning, the Jougnena, flows in here from the left.
