Historical location - The original Langtang Village was devastated in the 2015 earthquake with almost the entire population of people along with their homes and belongings destroyed by an enormous rockfall directly above the village.

It's a sobering sight to observe the quantity of rock that fell with no time to evade from high above them.

A tough crossing but the new Langtang Village situated just above the original site is visible and close - just 30 minutes more will see you at your overnight rest stop.
