The Catholic parish church in Pierscie is the Sanctuary of St. Nicholas (one of the few in Poland). The history of the village is closely related to the cult of graces of the famous figure of St. Nicholas, lasting over 400 years. In 1616, a fire consumed the entire village - only the statue of St. Nicholas - which was considered a miraculous fact and a sign. Pilgrimages and individual pilgrims come here.
