The Eulenstein is located to the east of the small village of Tiefenellern. The rock is also known as the Eulenwand and towers over the picturesque Ellertal in Franconian Tuscany. When the weather is clear, you can see the Steigerwald from up there and see sights of Bamberg, such as the Altenburg.
