Beautiful viewpoint over the Mookerheide. Historical ground:
The Battle of the Mookerheide took place on the Mookerheide in 1574. Lodewijk van Nassau and Hendrik van Nassau, two younger brothers of William of Orange, fought here against the Spanish during the Eighty Years' War.

You are not allowed to cycle there, but at the top of the trail along the heathland you get a beautiful view over the heath and the Brabant landscape behind it, however, the Maas. Worth squeezing the brakes and eating your sandwich ;-)
