Northeast of the church is one of the most remarkable; “Tingsflisan”, which is believed to date from the 11th century. This is a stone almost 3 metres high that stands on a hill. On this stone there is an inscription in ornamental form that reads: “Torer and Torsten and Torfast, these brothers set up the stone for their father Gunnfus. God help his soul.”
