Road cycling
The former Governing Mayor of Berlin, Willy Brandt (1913-1992), was here in his capacity as Federal Chancellor. The mayors of Berlin, Schütz, Stobbe and Diepgen, also came to visit and were probably amazed by the street names they were familiar with from the big Berlin: in addition to Kurfürstendamm, Unter den Linden and Potsdamer Platz, there were also Lichterfelde, Heerstraße and Berliner Schloss.
