Road cycling
Prior to the bridge being built, a ferry travelled back and forth between the two peninsulas with the service ceasing to operate in the mid 1960s.
Without the bridge it takes an hour to do the same journey, making it an invaluable asset for locals and enabling some awesome cycling loops around the stunning peninsulas.
