Beautiful, relatively easy to reach summit on the Stallersattel with a great view. Not as overcrowded as most of the other excursion destinations there, we really liked that. Technically simple route, well marked. A great panoramic view of the Obersee 👍 on the way. The tour is really fun. From the parking lot at Obersee or Stallersattel, almost 700 meters of ascent, again and again flat passages that invite you to take a break.

Hiking

Beautiful summit above the Staller Sattel. Reachable in 2.5 to 3.0 hours on good mountain trails. Only the last few meters are steep uphill through scree. Can be used as an alternative to the red wall. It is a very lonely summit, however.

Mountaineering

The detour over the Hinterbergkofel rather than over the Hallscharte is very worthwhile. The ascent is relatively easy and well marked. The descent is quite demanding and exposed. Unfortunately, the mark is bad until you are back down on the Almweg 2000.
