The cemetery is located in front of the village of Augustów, on the northern side of the Kozienice-Radom road. On a rectangular plan with dimensions of 20 x 25 m, it is fenced with a stone wall.

Collective and ground graves. In the rear part, two in the form of mounds with dimensions of 6x5 m, an Orthodox cross on the left and a Latin cross on the right. From the front, four graves, 7x1.5 m, surrounded by a concrete curb, two are Russian and Austrian.

The cemetery was built in 1918 by the Army Central Command of the Army. In the Archives of Historical Records there is a construction document dated July 4, 1918. The construction was completed in the years 1929–1932.

According to Kazimierz Mróz's notes, probably drawn up in the 1920s, 484 soldiers were buried at the cemetery, including 6 officers, 267 soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian army and 211 soldiers of the Russian army. Later, the remains of soldiers exhumed from other cemeteries were buried here, incl. from the war quarters of the parish cemetery in the village of Poświętne, from where 155 soldiers were transferred. A document drawn up in 1938 shows that 796 soldiers were buried at the Augustów cemetery at that time, i.e. 8 German soldiers, 392 Austrian soldiers and 396 Russian soldiers.
