"... The telecommunications tower Eisernhardt (Siegen-Süd) is a 134 meter high telecommunications tower FMT 2/73 made of reinforced concrete (type tower) on the Eisernhardt in North Rhine-Westphalia. It was put into operation in 1976. It is currently the tallest building in the city area Siegen. It is mainly used for microwave radio and mobile communications and is one of the currently 25 locations in Germany from which mobile Internet for civil aircraft is distributed. Since December 14, 2015, DAB+ has also been distributed from here in vertical polarization and in simulcast mode with others broadcasters..."
