The gatehouse, also gatehouse at the Katzensprung, in Holzminden is a half-timbered house built in 1922 with a sandstone roof. It is a monument. The cobblestone of the archway reads: "The council built me in bad times. May better ones pass through me”, since the building was built during the hyperinflation in the German Empire.
