The Gavarres weather radar is also located in the Massís de les Gavarres, in the Baix Empordà region. At the summit there is a geodetic point and also a meteorological radar that was installed in 2002. It consists of a 19-meter-high building, high enough to be seen from various points in the region. Very close to the building you can also visit a dolmen.
