This gravel road (which is offically part of GIV6641) connects GI664 (main road from Sant Sadurni to Santa Pellaia) with Montnegre. It's a great gravel alternative to the traditional Santa Pellaia Climb, so you can for example easily connect it to a rountrip with Els Angels. I would recommend at least 38-40mm tires with some profile, as the road can be a bit loose and bumpy in some parts.
It can easily be ridden up and down.
The gravel climb is roughly 6km long with a gentle gradient (2-3%). Just the final kilometer gets a bit steeper. Keep in mind, that the climb is not yet finished when you hit the paved round around Montnegre again and you will have another 2km until you reach the top of the climb at San Mateo de Montnegre.

So glad I came across this Highlight when planning a Tour. I was wondering if it was possible to do a loop that went through Montnegre. This is just about passable on a road bike with 25mm tyres. For much of the path there is a smoother track in the right hand side.

Ideal track for gravel and connecting Santa Pellaia with Montnegre. Then you can still stick another track in very good condition to link with Los Angeles
