The tunnels on the Ciro Trail have a certain fascination. A little Indiana Jones feeling. However, I didn't notice anything about ankle-deep worms. I found the stones, some of which had broken off the ceiling, more unpleasant in the dark. Headlamp is very helpful here.
The thorns to the right and left of the trail are rather uncomfortable. You can't always avoid them in the coarse gravel.
