This old 17th century watchtower sits at the tip of a headland and offers not only the perfect opportunity for a breather, but also an impressive view of the sea. Once built to protect the city from Barbary pirates, the tower has an exciting history that you can practically feel along the route. The route has a very special atmosphere, especially in the late afternoon when the low sun bathes the water in golden tones.
