The Pelzerhaken lighthouse is near Neustadt in Holstein on the Bay of Lübeck. It was built in 1843 with a height of 12 meters. Until 1864 Neustadt was Denmark's southernmost port in the Baltic Sea, and the lighthouse keeper was therefore also a customs assistant. The pilot's quarters were also housed in the lighthouse keeper's house, which is now inhabited until 1876, and in 1936 it was increased to its current size of 19 meters.
