The Bow Valley Parkway is a beautiful road between Banff and Lake Louise. There are many animals to watch, possibly also 🐻 (beware !, I saw a black bear, for example, so keep ready bear spray). The view of the Bow River is sometimes incredibly beautiful (keyword: "Backswamp" vantage point). It offers a small hiking trip on the way to Johnston Canyon, but you can also easily continue the route.
