  • Pretty much everything is beautiful in the Nockberge, including this lake, the Friesenhalsee. It is located next to the hiking trail to the Königsstuhl and is a very nice stopover. In summer, frogs, their intermediate stages and salamanders can be seen in the lake. Small seabirds are also at home here. In addition, herds of cows roam the meadows and come to the lake to drink in the evening.
