Wonderfully quiet climbing gravel road from the highest point of the road to an even higher vantage point over the lower desert at Guadix in the distance. The gravel road is perfect and is never steep. After the mirador the road continues and you have several options to continue gravelling.

Cycling

Spain is known for its steep climbs, but this gravel road is a wonderful exception. The gravel road is wide and meanders leisurely up towards the Peña Bermeja viewpoint, from where you have a beautiful view and can continue cycling in either direction. The springs along the route are unfortunately dry, so take enough water with you during hot days.
