    Hiking

    Broken Hand is a rugged volcanic formation east of Broken Top. You can scramble to the top for great views of the Three Sisters, Mount Bachelor, Broken Top and towards the city of Bend. You can access Broken Hand either from the Broken Top Trail or via Tam McArthur Rim. There is a rough trail leading to the top or moderate one further down.

    To hike in this area between June 15 and October 15, you need to obtain a permit for the Central Cascades Wilderness here: recreation.gov/ticket/300009/ticket/2000.
