After a long construction period, the Mill Bridge was opened in October 2021, and cyclists and pedestrians have been able to use it ever since. It is part of the Enz Cycle Path. A large children's playground has been created in Enzpark directly at the entrance to the bridge. You can also see a mill wheel in action. It doesn't drive a millstone, but rather a generator that generates electricity. The bridge offers new photo opportunities of Besigheim.

Work is currently underway to extend the cycle path. Once completed, you will be able to cross under the Enz Bridge.

On the new cycle path section (Mühlensteg) through the Enzpark you can ride at the same level as the river and cross it. With a little consideration and restrained speed, a problem-free ride is also possible on Sundays and public holidays! On the Enzterrasse (near the road bridge) there is catering on weekends in summer, as well as occasionally at the Ernst'sche Mühle, directly on the jetty.
