On June 7, 2022, the non-profit organization Logeren in Vlaanderen unveiled the largest tourist sign in Flanders on the Hofstade domain. The 7 meter high sign provides inspiration for fun trips in Flanders and was the starting signal for the Flanders-Vakantieland summer campaign.

Hiking

The sign itself is just a fun fact for me, but it is on the access road to the playgrounds and they are recommended for children up to 12 years old, maybe a little more. For the waiting parents there is a terrace at the (children's) bistro "Zomerlust"
