Breathtaking views open up again and again from behind the Pénitents (the rock formation "The Penitents") and beyond that further across the valley of the Durance River.
Difficult to walk, lots of rolling stones and a very narrow path directly on the mountain ridge. Sturdy hiking shoes, good surefootedness and a head for heights are strongly recommended!
