Well, I didn't think it was that bad (I was also surprised by the name of the highlight). The Fahnerscharten (Marburger) Hut at an altitude of approx. 2500m is, among other things, a good place to stop for a break when climbing the summit to the Jakobspitze (2742m). Small meals (since everything is flown in by helicopter) are served here. Friendly hut staff.
We also recommend taking a look behind the hut at the Fahnersee.
