The half-timbered church was built around 1720/1730. The painting probably took place in 1733. In 1760, artisans added a new church tower to the building. In 1999, the parish carried out the first maintenance work, including emergency protection of the building. In 2001 the roof and tower were renovated; Work on the interior followed in 2004. A curtain painting was exposed behind the altar and the beam ceiling was renovated.
